Amber Milner

Amber is a senior producer at Fox 9 and currently produces All Day. She has been with FOX 9 since 2022, starting as the 6pm producer before launching into the digital world. 

Amber was born and raised in Wisconsin and could not be prouder to be from the dairy state! She grew up on her family's dairy farm in the Fox Valley and was an active member of 4-H, showing animals at the fair every summer. She attended college at UW-La Crosse where she dove into broadcast media. While there, Amber helped run her college TV station while finding her footing in the professional world.

While in school, she started her career in broadcast at KQEG co-hosting a small business shopping show. She later went on to work part-time at WXOW in La Crescent, Minnesota as a production assistant. When she graduated, Amber became a full-time producer at WXOW while also reporting and creating digital content. In 2020, she moved to the Twin Cities to produce the morning show at WCCO, where she stayed until starting at Fox 9.

When Amber's not trying to find the next big story for her show, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their friends and their dog Eddie. Amber loves trying out new things, like exploring new places, cooking new recipes or dipping her toes into a different hobby. You might catch her hiking at a state park, sampling a new restaurant, cheering on the Loons in Allianz Stadium or smuggling a New Glarus beer or 6 across the border after a visit back home. You might also hear the faint echo of her yelling "COWS!" as she drives by a pasture during a road trip.
